Toke Larsen, a 28-year-old project manager at the Copenhagen public transport authority spent three years of hard work converting and renovating this floating home. He designed the 90 m² house himself, which has a steel structure built on pontoons and built some of its furniture. The large glass curtain walls look new but in fact, were salvaged from a factory building. The house has a spacious living room, one bedroom, and a bathroom and was designed to accommodate two people but could be used by a three-four person family as a holiday residence. The houseboat assumed its final form after being inhabited for several years, with the completion of a roof terrace with its own shower and grill. The house is for rent!
UPDATE: The houseboat has been remodeled in 2014.
